Terms of Use


Article 1 [Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the conditions of use, all procedures, and other necessary matters between the site and users when using the services provided by Yota Star (hereinafter referred to as “Company”).

Article 2 (Definition of Member)
① Member refers to a user who accesses the service provided by the company, agrees to Yotastar's usage procedures in accordance with these terms and conditions, uses the service provided by the company, and a user who is authenticated through SNS (social network) and can log in.

Article 3 (Membership Registration)
① Those who wish to become members apply for membership by filling out the membership information according to the registration form set by the company and clicking the “Agree” and “Confirm” buttons. In addition, apply for membership after going through the authentication process through the social login provided by Yotastar.
② The Company will register the applicant as a member as stated in Paragraph 1, unless the applicant falls under any of the following items.
1. If there are false information, omissions, or errors in the registration information.
2. If you have experienced membership restrictions, suspension, or loss
3. If it is determined that registering as another member will significantly impede Yota Star’s service operation and technology.
③ The membership contract is established when Yota Star’s approval reaches the applicant.
④ If there is a change in the member information stated in Paragraph 1, the member must immediately correct and record the change.

Article 4 (Provision and change of services)
① The company provides the following services to members.

1. Community services (bulletin board, etc.)
2. Search service
3. All other services to be provided to members by Yota Star itself or through cooperation agreements with other Yota Star.
② Yota Star may notify members of the contents of the service and the date of provision in the manner specified in Article 7, Paragraph 2, and may change and provide the service specified in Paragraph 1.

Article 5 (Service interruption)
① Yota Star may temporarily suspend the provision of services in the event of maintenance, inspection, replacement or breakdown of information and communication equipment such as computers, or interruption of communication, replacement with a new service, or other services deemed appropriate by Yota Star. Depending on the reason, the currently provided service may be completely discontinued.
② In the case of service interruption pursuant to Paragraph 1, Yota Star will notify members in the manner prescribed in Article 7, Paragraph 2. However, this does not apply if advance notice is not possible due to service interruption due to reasons beyond the control of Yotastar (disk failure without intention or negligence of the system administrator, system crash, etc.).

Article 6 (Withdrawal of membership, loss of qualification, etc.)
① A member may request Yota Star to cancel his/her membership registration (withdrawal of membership) at any time, and Yota Star will immediately take steps to cancel the member's membership registration upon receipt of the above request.
② If membership is withdrawn due to security, development difficulties, or service abuse, some of the member's information may be deleted or stored. However, posts registered on community services or other public bulletin boards will not be deleted.
③ If a member falls under any of the following reasons, Yotastar may restrict, suspend, or lose the member's membership in an appropriate manner.
1. If false information is registered when applying for membership
2. In case of threatening the electronic transaction order, such as interfering with other people's use of the service or stealing the information.
3. When using the service to commit an act prohibited by the law or these Terms and Conditions or contrary to public order and morals.
4. When posting for advertising or promotional purposes
5. When a personal attack is made against a specific member
④ If Yotastar decides to revoke a member’s membership, the membership registration will be cancelled.
⑤ If the user has no log-in record to use the service for one consecutive year while using the service after registering as a member in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, Yota Star may revoke the member's membership.

Article 7 (Notification to members)
① When Yota Star notifies a specific member about the service, the email address registered in the member information can be used.
② If Yota Star provides notice to an unspecified number of members, individual notice may be replaced by posting the notice on the notice board for more than 7 days.

Article 8 (Member’s Personal Information)
① When you sign up as a member, Yota Star requires you to enter some essential personal information such as ID, nickname, and email address.

Article 9 (Yotastar’s Obligations)
① Yotastar does not engage in any acts prohibited by the law or these Terms and Conditions or against public order and morals, and strives to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
② Yotastar strives to build a system so that members can use the service safely and conveniently.
③ Yota Star is not responsible for compensating members for damages when they use the service.

Article 10 (Obligations regarding member ID and password)
① Except in cases where Yota Star assumes responsibility pursuant to relevant laws and regulations or the “Personal Information Protection Policy,” each member is responsible for managing his or her own ID and password.
② Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password.
③ If members become aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify Yota Star and follow any instructions provided by Yota Star.

Article 11 (Member’s Obligations)
① Members must not engage in any of the following acts.
1. Registering false information when applying for or changing membership
2. Acts that infringe on the intellectual property rights of Yota Star and third parties or interfere with the rights and operations of Yota Star or the rights and activities of third parties.
3. Stealing another member’s ID
4. Posting or transmitting information (computer programs, etc.) whose transmission or posting is prohibited by relevant laws and regulations.
5. Posting or transmitting information by impersonating a Yotastar employee or service administrator or by stealing another person’s name.
6. Posting or transmitting material containing software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment.
7. Harassing other members, such as stalking
8. Collecting, storing, and disclosing personal information about other members without their consent.
9. Posting advertisements or propaganda or posting pornographic material targeting an unspecified number of people.
10. Violation of notice regulations posted on bulletin boards and related services provided by Yota Star.

② If a member commits an act falling under Paragraph 1, Yotastar may restrict, suspend or lose the member's membership in an appropriate manner in accordance with the provisions of Article 6, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of these Terms and Conditions.
③ Members are responsible for compensating damages suffered by Yota Star or other members due to reasons attributable to the member.

Article 12 (Deletion of public postings)
① If the content of a member's public posting falls under any of the following items, Yota Star may delete or change the public posting without prior notice to the member, and may restrict, suspend, or lose the member's membership.
1. Content that defames other members or third parties by slandering or slandering them
2. Content that disseminates information, sentences, figures, etc. that violate public order and morals
3. Content judged to be related to criminal activity
4. Content that infringes upon the copyrights and other rights of other members or third parties.
5. If the content causes religious or political disputes and it is judged that such disputes will interfere with or interfere with the work of Yota Star.
6. Other content that is judged to be in violation of Yotastar’s posting operation policy and related laws.
7. When directly or indirectly promoting other sites or services
② On the basis of infringement of legal interests caused by a member's public posting, another member or a third party may take civil or criminal legal action (e.g., complaint, request for injunction, lawsuit for damages) against the member or Yota Star, and may also take legal action. If you request the deletion of a post related to an action, Yota Star may temporarily restrict access to the related post until the result of the legal action (e.g. prosecution indictment, court decision to injunction, damages judgment). there is.

Article 13 (Attribution of copyright and use of posts)
① Copyright and other intellectual property rights for works created by Yota Star belong to Yota Star.
② Members must not use the information obtained by using the services provided by Yota Star for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use the information obtained by using the services provided by Yota Star by copying, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, or other methods without prior consent from Yota Star.
③ The copyright of posts posted by members within the service belongs to the member who posted them. However, Yota Star may use posts registered by members as follows for the purpose of operating, displaying, transmitting, distributing, and promoting the service, free of charge, without separate permission from the member, and within a reasonable range consistent with fair practices stipulated in the Copyright Act. there is.
1. Copying, modifying, adapting, displaying, transmitting, distributing member posts within the service and creating edited works within the scope of not damaging the copyright.
2. Providing, displaying or promoting the contents of members' posts to service affiliate partners such as media and telecommunication companies. However, in this case, KMG HiTech will not provide the member's personal information other than the member's user ID/nickname and related IP without separate consent.
3. If Yota Star wishes to use a member's posting in a manner other than the preceding paragraph, it must obtain the member's consent in advance through methods such as phone, fax, or e-mail.

Article 14 (Refund)
① If the user is dissatisfied with Yota Star, a refund is possible through the refund procedure.
② Refund fees vary depending on the period of use and are possible through negotiation.

③ However, products through Yota Star events are discounted products and cannot be refunded after use.

Article 15 (Revision of Terms and Conditions)
① Yota Star may revise these Terms and Conditions to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Electronic Signature Act, and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, etc.
② However, if the revised content is unfavorable to members, it will be announced from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date.
③ Members have the right to refuse any changed terms and conditions. Members may express their intention to refuse within 7 days after the changed terms and conditions are announced. If a member refuses, Yota Star may terminate the contract with the member. If a member does not express his/her intention to reject the changed terms and conditions within 7 days after they were announced, he/she is deemed to have agreed to them.

Article 16 (Jurisdiction)
The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to disputes regarding the use of services that arise between Yota Star and members, and lawsuits arising from these disputes shall be filed in the courts of the Republic of Korea, which have jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Supplementary provisions
(Enforcement date) These terms and conditions are effective from June 20, 2013.
